There are many things to look forward to with Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. With potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay, you’ll not be bored for some time. Or you can simply venture into the universe they’ve created so you can see all there is to see. You’ll take to the stars and enjoy a storyline that’ll have you making various choices that can affect what you do and where you go next. This game will be the first new universe they’ve made in some time, and they endeavor to build something that every player will want to explore and enjoy. But now, they seek to push themselves to new heights with the arrival of Starfield. The current nightmare's soul edge might also be a phantom as in SC3's, but no one really knows which one's the true soul edge. The team at Bethesda has been crafting masterful gaming titles for over 25 years. SC 4's soul edge is it's true form when all the evil seeds/shards were gathered. I believe the soul edge is shattered again, because the current nightmare wields a soul edge that looks similar to what he had from SC 1 to SC 3. Sophie will use Soul Edge while still being herself? While being another monster thing?Īctually I imagined her before as a Nightmare counterpart but with Soul Calibur, a light version of Nightmare with a Greek godess motif.Īlso Ezio is looking rad (the music is awesome) and Dampierre seems fun, so wack lol. While I'm not really disappointed by Nightmare I'm pretty surprised. Yeah his shirtless alt looks cool but they can't possibly give it to him now, maybe they can give it to Sieg minus the arm?īut still something is off, what happened to the new Soul Edge design? Too bad the art doesn't translate well to the models but lets hope they get that right one day.Įdit: Good thing this is coming out in January, I hope it's not rushed though.įans of Nighty's design in 1 and 2, how can you look at this and hate it? Have you not seen how he looked in 3 and 4 :X? ![]() Nightmare and Raphael look so amazing, dat art :O_ Now in SC5, It seems he isn't in his complete form (soul edge destroyed?), so his design became less deformed from SC4.īut to each of his own, i find the design fits because it pretty much define how he plays, reckless and brutality. I guess his ongoing deformation make sense in the context of the story. It's way better than SC3, but if you took his deformed arm he looks almost like a mech. His new design is more based on a stripped down version of SC3, which you see above, flaming spike and all. In SC2 they changed his helmet but still managed to make it look cool! Siegfried's hair is now red like in his alternate SC1 costume above:īut as soon as they started getting crazy with his design (when Siegfried freed himself, and Nightmare became just a monster) he lost his appeal to me: His alternate costume was badass too! As I said, a hint of the man behind the monster: His design in SC1 was freaking awesome for the time, his helmet is just too cool: He didn't only lost Siegfried soul.he lost his appeal too. The crazier the design got the weaker the character became IMO. I liked Nightmare's design more when even though he was a monster, if you looked closely you could see that there was a man in there. ![]() I did appreciate his fighting style evolution. I'm not feeling his new design.but truth be told I stopped playing Soul Calibur around number 3.
